At McKerron design we believe in creating harmony between the inside and outside space so that the two work together and complement one another. Our key partnerships with trusted landscape designers allow us to maintain the coherence of interior and exterior space so critical to beautiful design.
What all well designed gardens have in common is their ability to draw the viewer in and to flow from the interior space.
Views, focal points and vistas are crucial considerations in the planning of both a garden and an interior. These are the details that make the difference between a good design and something that is truly stunning.
This Suffolk kitchen garden was created in conjunction with the Landscape Gardener, Roger Gladwell so as to ensure that it became an integral part of the kitchen design. Its framing by a large central window at the end of the kitchen creates a focal point when one walks into the room, drawing the eye into the kitchen and beyond, adding further interest and an outside dimension to the design.
